That's right! I also sell Insurance. My family has a long history with transportation in Ventura County. From hauling beets to moving buildings, reliable transport has been a part of family tradition since 1867. By 1939, the family invested in a dealership, L. G. MAULHARDT EQUIPMENT COMPANY, named after Louis Godfrey Maulhardt. Ten years later, on September 9, 1949, the International Harvester business relocated to 350 Oxnard Blvd., while the previous location was utilized to sell Hudson cars, and by 1952, Buick automobiles. John Maulhardt ran the tractor and truck business, and Robert took over the automobile business.
By 1968, Robert sold the Buick to Don Monday and my dad, Bill, ran Maulhardt Motors at 837 Oxnard Blvd.
